This was the first question I had when hearing about BulkSupplements’ affiliate program. Because the powder is unflavored, I mix it with my usual protein powder to save money and increase the grams of protein I get with each protein shake. The resulting flavor is virtually the same, so don’t be afraid to mix this unflavored powder with other kinds of shakes or smoothies, as well.

Creatine monohydrate is one of the only time-tested supplements proven to be safe and effective for building muscle size and strength. No gimmicks needed. It’s a combination of amino acids naturally found in certain types of meat. BulkSupplements offers micronized creatine, meaning it’s further refined to be smaller and digest easier.

Citrulline malate (2:1 ratio) is the first ingredient I look for when I want a good preworkout for weightlifting. It’s often available in preworkouts at less-than-clinical doses, which is why I add more (I take between 8g to 10g when I use it). I also use BulkSupplements’ beta alanine because my current preworkout doesn’t have it. This is generally taken in a 3.2g dose.

Pros and Cons of Bulk Supplements

As I stated, I’m very happy with BulkSupplements, both as a company and their products. However, there are a few more pros and cons you should know before choosing to switch to the brand.

  • Their facilities adhere to cGMP requirements set by the FDA.
  • Since the supplements come as individual ingredients, you can get creative with what you take.

Cons of BulkSupplements:

  • I personally love being able to mix and match ingredients as needed, but others might not like ordering unflavored ingredients.
  • Their products come in resealable ziplock-style bags that can sometimes be hard to close instead of traditional tubs.
  • Their products do not come with scoopers that you usually find with other supplement companies.
